Workplace culture
At Arcon Projects, we are always working to create a positive environment and working culture for our employees. We believe this plays a powerful role in determining work satisfaction, relationships and progression. We recognise that a mix of leadership, values, traditions, beliefs, interactions, behaviours and attitudes all contribute to a positive emotional and relational workplace environment.
Indigenous Policy & Reconciliation Action Plan
Arcon is a majority-owned Indigenous Company, proudly representing the Wandandian Nations of the South Coast of NSW, which has connections to the Yuin and Tharawal Nations. Arcon is committed to contributing to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which we work while providing meaningful employment and business opportunities for Australia’s first people. We support the advancement of the four action types of reconciliation (Reflect, Innovate, Stretch, Elevate) by developing and supporting respectful relationships and creating meaningful opportunities with and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Acknowledgement of Country
We are proud of the different cultures that flow within our vibrant workforce and respect the First People of this Land.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country on where our offices reside, and recognise their continuing connection.
We pay respect to the Elders of these people both past, present and future, our Indigenous staff and all Indigenous communities we interact with. We also pay respect to all Non-Indigenous people we work with whom share our vision for an empowered and diverse working environment for all Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people alike.
